At ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ, a transfer student is defined as a student who has completed 12 transferable credit hours after graduating high school with a minimum GPA of 2.7. If you are currently enrolled in your first semester and enrolled in at least 12 semester hours, you should also apply as a transfer. If you are a part-time student or have fewer than 12 semester hours (after high school graduation), please submit a first-year application.

Transfer students are admitted based on their academic records at the institutions from which they are transferring. To graduate, you must complete 60 semester hours or more at ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ, including the last term before graduation.

Transfer Engagement Scholarships

GPA of 3.5-4.0     $10,000 annually
GPA of 3.0-3.49   $5,000 annually

Merit scholarships are awarded to students who will have a minimum of 24 transferrable credit hours completed.  Award amounts are based on the GPA of your current institution that you are transferring.  If you have not yet completed 24 credit hours, but have work in progress, you will be reevaluated upon successful completion of coursework.
Students with a 3.0 GPA and 24 transferrable credits are eligible for the scholarship.

Need-based Aid

You should complete the FAFSA and CSS Profile as soon as possible.  Both forms are available and are required to be considered for need-based financial aid.  No aid will be awarded until after students have been admitted as a transfer student.  You can follow the steps below to receive the maximum aid you are eligible.

  1. For all types of aid, complete and submit the . ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµâ€™s FAFSA federal Title IV school code is 002927.
  2. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ requires the results of the to be considered for need-based aid that comes from the university. ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµâ€™s CSS Profile code is 5183.
  3. Notify ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµâ€™s Office of Financial Aid of any scholarships, grants, loans or other assistance you will be receiving from any source other than ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµ. Such notification is required by federal regulation as well as institutional policy.

Transfer Application

ÂÒÂ×ÊÓÆµâ€™s transfer undergraduate application is online only. A credit card is required when you apply unless you have been issued a fee waiver.

All transfer applicants must submit:

  • Completed application and nonrefundable $60 fee
  • Official transcripts from all two-year and four-year colleges/universities attended
  • A final official high school transcript
  • Applicants who are applying for Acting, Dance Performance & Choreography, Music Theatre and Theatrical Design & Technology must have their applications submitted by January 10.  These programs require an audition and are only eligible for fall applications.
